Study Well Classes

The building at 36/A/2 in Baner Gaon is where we run Study Well Classes. It’s a busy area these days with all the new construction and traffic, but inside the classroom, we try to keep things steady. We started this because we saw a lot of kids in the neighborhood needing a place to go after school for their lessons. It’s a modest space, just a few rooms with enough benches for the groups. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy website. It’s mostly word of mouth that brings people here. We teach the usual subjects, focusing on what’s in the school books and making sure the concepts make sense. Some days the kids are tired and don't want to study, so we have to find ways to keep them engaged without making it feel like more chores. The monsoon season makes the walk to the class a bit messy sometimes, but the students still show up. We have a small corner for our own books and a place to make some tea. It’s an everyday kind of business. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help a few more kids pass their exams and feel better about their schoolwork. It’s honest, local work and we’ve been at it for a while now in this part of Pune.
