Step 4 Career

We have a small shop, number 23, on the ground floor of the Sai Sankul Complex. It’s located right on Kalewadi Main Road in Pune. A good landmark for us is the Dhangarbaba Mandir, which is directly opposite our place. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in off the street. We’ve been here in Kalewadi for some time, helping people figure out their next steps in their careers. The office is simple—just some desks, a couple of chairs for visitors, and our files. It’s not a fancy consulting firm with glass walls. It feels more like a local spot where you can have a real conversation. We spend a lot of time talking to young people about their options and what kind of jobs might suit them. Sometimes it’s busy with three or four people waiting, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We don’t use any complicated jargon or try to sound like we know everything. We just look at what’s available and try to point people in a direction that makes sense for them. Pune is a big city with lots of competition, so we try to provide a grounded perspective. It’s just us doing our bit in the neighborhood to help folks get a start. People stop by all the time just to ask a quick question, and we like it that way.
