We are based over in Rasta Peth, at a place called Kaustubh Apartments. Our unit is Flat 2 on the first floor. It’s an older building, number 282, but it serves its purpose well. Rasta Peth is one of those areas in Pune that always feels busy, no matter what time it is. There’s a lot of history in these streets. Our office isn't very large, just enough room for the staff and the paperwork we have to deal with. Being on the first floor is handy because you don’t have to wait for the lift, you just walk right up. We’ve got the standard office furniture and a lot of files. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or anything. The windows look out over the street, so you can see the city moving while you work. Most of us have been working here for quite a while now. We know the neighbors in the building and the guys at the local tea stall. It’s a very local way of working. We deal with the usual daily tasks, some days are more hectic than others. It’s just a normal workplace in a crowded, lively part of town. We show up, do what needs doing, and head home. The light in the afternoons is actually quite nice through the main window. There’s a bakery down the street that smells great around four o’clock, which is a nice distraction. We aren’t looking to move soon.
