We are based out of House No. 871 in Yusufwadgaon. It's a small place in Kaij, Beed. Most of us here at Ssk Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited grew up around these fields. It wasn't always a company, just a lot of neighbors talking about how to get better prices for what we grow. The roads around here get pretty muddy during the monsoon, making it hard to move things. We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch at the house, figuring out the paperwork which is always more than you think. Beed can be a dry place, so water is usually what everyone is talking about when they stop by. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a room with some chairs and a lot of registers. People come in from the nearby villages, mostly friends and family we’ve known forever. We try to get the seeds sorted and help the younger guys understand how the markets work. Sometimes we make mistakes with the forms, but we get there in the end. It's just about making sure the people in Yusufwadgaon have a way to sell their crops without too much trouble. If you’re ever near Kaij, you’ll find us right at that address. It’s a busy house most mornings. We don’t do much advertising because everyone around here already knows where we are and what we’re trying to do.
