Sri Devi Burra Class

Our location for Sri Devi Burra Class is in Sai Laxmi Galaxy, which is over in the Kalas part of Yerawada. It’s a bit further out than some other places, but it’s a good spot for the people living in this section of Pune. The building is fairly modern compared to some of the older structures in the 411006 area. We operate out of a space that feels more like a home than an office. There are curtains on the windows and a rug on the floor where people sometimes leave their shoes before coming inside. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but most of the students are young and don't mind the stairs. We have a small desk where we keep all the records and schedules. Most of the teaching happens at a long table where everyone can see each other and share notes. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We talk about school and what’s happening in the news while we work through the lessons. The name might sound a bit formal to some, but we are just regular people trying to help out. We’ve had families bring us sweets during festivals, which is always nice and makes it feel like a family. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows your name after a week. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the work every day.
