Our office is located at Yashashree Colony, right near Shivam Colony in Karve Nagar. It's a busy part of Pune, quite different from the fields where most of our work actually happens. We are registered as Sri Ankanatheshwara Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s basically a group of us who decided that working as a collective makes more sense for our families and the farms. The address is S.No. 3/9 if you are trying to find the place. We spent a long time thinking about how to set this up properly. Most days, we are either checking on the crops or dealing with the logistics of getting things moved to the market from here in Maharashtra. It is not always easy. The traffic in Pune can be a real headache when we are trying to get things done. We aren't some big corporation with hundreds of staff. It is just a handful of us running the show from the office and the farmers out on their land. We try to keep things simple and honest. The building here is just a regular spot in the colony. We handle the bills, the government forms, and the planning for next season. It’s hard work, but being together as a producer company helps a bit with the costs. We've been at it for a while now and we just keep moving forward one day at a time. It’s just us trying to make farming work in the modern day.
