We are based at 5, Vakola Dhavalgiri Chs on Datta Mandir Road, right in Santacruz East, Mumbai. Living and working in this part of Mumbai means you are always in the middle of a lot of noise and activity. Being near the airport and the highway, there is never a quiet moment outside. Our office for Sony India Pvt Ltd is part of a housing society building, which makes it feel a bit more like a local spot than a big corporate headquarters. We deal with the usual mix of electronics and customer inquiries that come our way every day. The space is a bit tight, but we have managed to organize it so we can get our work done. It gets really humid here, especially during the rains, but we just keep the doors open and the fans running. People from all over the Santacruz and Vakola area come to see us. We do not have any fancy sales pitches or anything like that. It is just us, sitting at our desks, trying to make sure everyone gets what they need. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when there is a lot of traffic on Datta Mandir Road and people are frustrated getting here. We just try to be helpful and keep things simple. It is a decent place to work, and we know our neighbors in the building well. We have been here at number 5 for a good stretch of time now.
