Soniya Fashion Salon

You can find Soniya Fashion Salon on the first floor of Ashiyana Park Society. We are right on North Main Road in Koregaon Park. It’s a pretty well-known spot, especially since we’re opposite the Fiat car showroom. I’ve been running this place for a while. It’s a salon, so there’s always something going on and it’s rarely quiet. We have people coming in for all sorts of things, hair, nails, whatever they feel like getting done. The first floor location is nice because it’s a bit away from the direct noise of the street, though Koregaon Park is always humming with activity. We try to keep the place looking decent, but it’s a working salon, so there are always towels to wash and bottles of products to organize. It’s not one of those overly polished places where you feel like you can’t touch anything or relax. It’s a real shop for real people who just want to look a bit better. I spend a lot of my time making sure everything is ready for the next person who walks through the door. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when several people show up at once without an appointment, but we manage to handle it. My staff and I just get on with the tasks at hand. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or goals. We just work. It’s a good location and we’ve built up a decent group of regulars who come to see us. It’s just a regular business day for us.
