Sonias Advertising

Our place, Sonias Advertising, sits over at B/9 Parvati Aaryavarat Bunglows Part III in Ahmedabad. It’s a bit of a mix of a residential area and small businesses, which makes for an interesting day. We spend most of our time staring at screens or checking print proofs for banners and local ads. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a lot of talk about branding strategies or high-level marketing stuff. We just make the signs and the flyers that people need for their shops or events. Sometimes the printer jams right when we are in a hurry, which is always frustrating but that is just part of the job. The office is tucked away in the bungalow area, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We have stacks of paper and vinyl rolls sitting in the corners. Clients usually call us or just stop by to see how their work is coming along. It’s a small operation here, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because we'd rather have better ink or faster computers. It is a decent living and we get to see our work posted up around the city on different walls and poles. It feels good when you walk down the street and see a board you printed last week still looking sharp and bright in the sunlight.
