Ad Shop

Ad Shop is located at 538 Narayan Peth in Semol Nagar, quite close to the Bhide Pool. If you know Narayan Peth, you know it’s one of those areas with narrow lanes and a lot of history. We are right in the thick of it. Our work involves a lot of printing and making signs or small advertisements for other local shops and people. The shop isn't very large, so it can get pretty cramped when we have big rolls of paper or boards lying around. There is always the sound of a printer running in the background. We spend a lot of our time looking at designs on the computer and then trying to get the colors right on the physical copy. Sometimes the machines act up right when we have a deadline, which can be a bit stressful. We see a lot of the same faces every day since the neighborhood is very tight-knit. People stop by to chat even if they don't need anything printed. It is a noisy place, with the traffic from the bridge and the general bustle of the Peth. We don't have a big corporate structure; it’s just a few of us doing the work and making sure things get delivered. We try to stay organized, but with all the samples and scraps of paper, the desk usually looks a bit messy. It’s just how we work, and it seems to go okay for us most of the time.
