Sonali Screens

Sonali Screens is located in Guruwar Peth at Survey No 448, taking up Shop No 1, 2, and 3 in Venkatesh Heights. Being in Guruwar Peth means we’re in one of the older parts of the city, which has its own special feel and character. The shops are close together and the streets are always full of life, especially in the mornings. Inside our space, you’ll find screens and ink and a lot of hands-on work happening. We aren't afraid to get our hands dirty here because that is how the work gets finished. It’s a simple business, really. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you when you walk in. Usually, you’ll just find one of us busy with a screen or a print. We’ve got a rhythm to the way we work, moving between the three shops to get everything finished. Sometimes the smell of the ink is a bit strong, but we’ve grown to like it over the years. We don’t put much stock in flashy advertising or trying to sound more important than we actually are. We’re just a local shop in Venkatesh Heights doing what we know how to do. The neighbors are friendly, and we often find ourselves chatting with the other shop owners during the slow moments in the late afternoon. It’s a decent way to spend the day, working hard and being part of the local community here in the Peth area.
