Snehadeep Farmer Producer Company Limited is based right here in Hingoli. We operate out of a space at Plot Number 2363/2 in Hanuman Nagar, which is actually part of Jayshree Sarkate’s place. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood. We decided to get together as farmers to see if we could handle our business a bit better ourselves. There isn't any big corporate office here. It’s just a room where we meet up and talk about the seeds, the weather, and what price we might get for the harvest this year. Sometimes the meetings go long because everyone has a different opinion on how to do things. We have some basic equipment and keep our records in a few ledgers. The roads around here can get a bit dusty in the summer, but that’s just how it is in Hingoli. We’re mostly busy during the sowing and picking seasons. The rest of the time, we’re just planning or fixing things up. It’s hard work, and we don't always get it right, but we’re learning as we go. We don't use any fancy talk here. We just want to make sure the work gets done and everyone gets a fair shake. Being a farmer producer company means we have to stick together, even when things are tough. It’s just us local people trying to make a go of it. We take it slow and try to be honest about our progress every single week.
