We are located over in Mohamad Wadi, which is a part of town that has been getting a lot busier lately. Our space isn't huge, but it is enough for what we do every day. We have a few rooms set up with chairs and tables where people come to spend their time. It’s usually pretty quiet inside compared to the street noise outside. We spend a lot of our mornings getting the place ready, wiping down the surfaces and making sure there is enough chalk or markers for the boards. Mohamad Wadi has a lot of new buildings now, but our spot stays pretty much the same as it was. We don’t have a big reception or anything, just a desk near the entrance where someone usually sits to say hello. The light in the afternoon comes through the windows quite nicely. Most people who come here live nearby, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s a simple routine for us. We show up, do the work, and close the doors when the sun goes down. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the windows for light. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while and we know the tea stall guy and the other shopkeepers around the corner. It’s just a regular place where people come to learn a few things without any fuss or fancy stuff.
