Smalltown Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located over at Pranay Ramlal Lanjewar’s place in Post Masal, which is in the Lakhandur sub-district. It’s a small town like the name says, and we’re just a bunch of farmers who decided to team up. Smalltown Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited was set up so we could have a bit more say in how our produce gets handled and sold. Working by yourself is tough, so being part of this group makes things a little more manageable for everyone involved. We spend most of our time out in the fields, so the office side of things is usually handled whenever we have a spare moment. It’s a very local operation. We know everyone around here and everyone knows us. We’re not trying to do anything huge, just trying to make sure the families in Masal can keep their farms going. There’s a lot of paperwork and rules to follow, but we help each other out with that part. You’ll mostly find us talking about seeds, weather, or the next harvest. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We don't have any big corporate ideas. We just want to make sure the farming life stays viable for the next generation. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here, and it works for us. There is no point in trying to be something we aren't, so we just stay focused on our work.
