Sindur Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is tucked away in Sukhada Apartment over in Sadashiv Peth. If you know the area, you know it’s a place with a lot of history and traditional vibes. We’ve been in this spot at number 2146 for a good amount of time. The parlour isn't very large, just a few rooms converted to handle beauty work. We do all the standard things like eyebrow shaping, facials, and bridal make-up when the season is right. Most of our clients are women from the surrounding lanes who have been coming to us for years. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here. We often have the radio on or just the sound of the ceiling fan whirring. We don’t have a big staff, so things are done in a very personal way. Sometimes the water pressure in the building acts up, or the electricity flickers, but we just manage around it. We keep our tools clean and our mirrors wiped down, but the decor is pretty simple and hasn't changed much since we opened. People like that it feels familiar and safe. It’s the kind of place where you can come in with your hair in a mess and leave feeling a bit more put together for your day. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just a neighborhood beauty parlour where we work hard and talk with our friends and neighbors every day. We just keep things running.
