Sims Dry Fruits

You can find Sims Dry Fruits over in Erandwane, right near Kamla Nehru Park. We’re in Shop No 3/2 at Dr Herekar Park. It’s a nice area to be in, especially in the evenings when people are out for walks. The shop is filled with bags of almonds, cashews, and raisins. We spend a lot of time weighing things out on the digital scale and tying up small packets for people. The smell inside is actually quite nice, a mix of all the different nuts and dried berries. We keep the glass jars polished, but fingerprints always find their way back. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll see the same couple of faces every time you walk in. We don’t go in for big advertisements or loud signs. Most people just know we’re here by passing by. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when it’s quiet and watch the traffic go by toward the park. We have to be careful about the storage to keep everything fresh, so checking the containers is a daily chore that we don't skip. It’s a steady pace of work. We get the regulars who come in every month for their supply, and we usually know exactly what they want before they even ask. It’s a simple business in a nice part of Pune. We just focus on keeping the stock good and the shop tidy enough for the neighbors.
