Simas Beauty Parlour

Simas Beauty Parlour is situated in that area between Navi Peth and Sadashiv Peth, right near Anand Baug and Parichay Society. It’s a very traditional part of Pune, so we see a lot of local families. The shop is located in a spot that’s easy to find if you know the neighborhood. We handle all the basic beauty needs that women have. It’s a lot of hair trimming, dyeing, and skin stuff. I’ve been working here for quite a few years now. The space inside is functional. We have the mirrors set up and the chairs are comfortable enough for a short stay. It gets pretty busy during the festive seasons when everyone wants to look their best. Otherwise, it’s just a steady flow of regulars. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It helps pass the time when I’m cleaning up between appointments. The neighbors are friendly, and we often exchange greetings in the mornings. There’s no big corporate plan here. I just wanted a place where I could work and help the ladies in the area. Most of the time, we’re just talking about daily life or what’s happening at the market nearby. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We stay open late enough for the working women to stop by after they finish their jobs. It’s a good little spot in a busy part of the city.
