You’ll find Silver Forge Pvt Ltd. over at Sainathnagar 65. It’s more of a workspace than an office, really. There is usually the sound of something being worked on, like metal clinking or a machine humming in the background. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone waiting at a front desk to greet you. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up from what they’re doing. The space at number 65 is functional, with concrete floors and big lights hanging from the rafters. There’s a bit of oil and metal dust around, but that’s just part of the job. We have some heavy workbenches that have been with us for years, scarred with marks from all the projects we’ve finished. It gets pretty loud during the peak hours of the day, so we sometimes have to shout to hear each other over the equipment. Sainathnagar is a decent area for this kind of work, as there are other workshops nearby, so we don’t feel out of place. We keep our tools organized on the wall, or at least we try to, though things often end up scattered by the end of the shift. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty and actually build things. We aren't worried about looking professional in suits; we just want the stuff we make to be solid and done right for whoever needs it.
