Silkberry Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at H No 170 in Waki Bk, which is part of the Khed taluka in Pune. We are a small group of farmers who decided that working alone wasn't cutting it anymore. The costs of everything keep going up, and the money we get back for our crops doesn't always match the effort we put in. We use this company to help us manage things like buying supplies and finding where to sell our produce. It is not a corporate setup at all. It is just us, the people from Waki Bk and the nearby areas, trying to make a living. We have our meetings in a simple room, usually after the day’s work is finished. Farming in Khed can be rewarding, but it takes a lot out of you. Being part of this group means we can share some of that load. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just want to be able to keep farming next year and the year after that. It is a very basic operation focused on the reality of life on the farm. We deal with the weather, the pests, and the market prices just like everyone else, but we do it together now. It feels a bit more stable this way for all of us involved in the company.
