Siddis Coachaing Classes

If you go to the Bharat Jyoti bus stop in Bibvewadi, you’ll see Ganesh Sweets. We are right above that on the second floor, which we call the Dusara Majala. It’s number 634. Being above a sweet shop is both a blessing and a curse because of the smells. Siddis Coaching Classes is a small operation. We have a few rooms where we fit the students in for their evening batches. The stairs are narrow, and you have to be careful when the kids are all rushing out at once. It’s a local place. Most of the kids live within walking distance, so they just wander in after school. We have some old wooden desks and a lot of chalk. Dust gets everywhere, but we try to keep it tidy. The bus stop outside is always crowded, so there’s a constant background noise of engines and people shouting for their bus. It’s just how Bibvewadi is. We don't have a website that’s updated or anything like that. People know us because they see the sign when they are waiting for the bus or buying sweets downstairs. We just sit there, go through the lessons, and help with homework. Sometimes parents stay back to talk about how their kids are doing. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it’s worked for us for years. We just keep the lights on and keep going.
