We are based at 6/146, Soba Puram, which is right along the Bangalore Highway in the Warje area of Pune. It’s a very accessible location for us and our clients. We’ve been working as architects from this office for a good number of years. Being so close to the highway means there is always a bit of noise from the trucks, but it also makes it easy to head out to different sites around the city. Our day-to-day work involves a lot of technical planning and making sure we are following all the local building codes. We aren't the kind of firm that spends a lot of time on social media or marketing. We mostly just focus on the drawings and the structural requirements of our projects. We’ve worked on various types of buildings, from apartment blocks to smaller private houses. Our office is a straightforward place where we focus on the task at hand. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just focus on doing the work right so that the buildings are safe and useful for the people who own them. Sometimes we have to deal with difficult site conditions or delays in approvals, but that’s just part of being an architect in Pune. We just take it one project at a time and try to give everyone a fair deal. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a solid one that we are quite proud of after all these years.
