Shyam Classes

We run Shyam Classes right on the Main Road in Yerawada, near Ganesh Nagar. If you are looking for Survey No 10, that is where you will find us. Being on the main road means there is always something going on outside our door. We hear the buses and the rickshaws all day long. The entrance is a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you come in. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still feel the energy of the city. We have several rows of desks that have been through a lot. The walls are covered with some charts and a calendar that we sometimes forget to flip until the month is half over. It’s a busy place, especially around five in the evening when the batches change over and kids are coming and going. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking by and seeing the sign. The neighborhood is full of working families, and we try to fit into their schedules as best as we can. Sometimes we have to move things around to make space for extra students during exam time. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours and we are proud of it. We’ve been in this part of Pune for a long time and we know the streets well. It’s just a simple place for people to come.
