Shubham Plastic Industries

We run Shubham Plastic Industries out of our unit in Kalyan C/106. It’s not a shop where you just walk in and browse. It’s more of a small factory setting. There’s the constant sound of machines running and the smell of raw materials being processed. We spend most of our time on the floor, making sure the equipment is working like it should. It gets pretty warm in here, especially during the summer months in Kalyan. We mostly make plastic items that people use every day, though you might not think much about where they come from. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done right. I usually have grease on my hands by noon. We started with just one machine and slowly added another one when we had the space. The office is just a tiny corner with a table and a couple of chairs. We don't spend much time sitting there anyway. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of what comes off the line. It’s a noisy place, and we have to speak loudly to hear each other over the humming of the motors. We aren't a big corporation, just a small industrial unit trying to keep things moving. We take our work seriously, even if it’s just making simple plastic goods. It’s honest work and we've been at C/106 for a long time now.
