We are located at Kurawali in the Indapur area, specifically at Gat Number 427. Shrirangrao Krushiudyog Producer Companylimited is our way of staying organized as farmers in this part of Pune district. We have a lot of history with this land, and most of us have been farming here since we were young. We didn't want to just be at the mercy of middle-men anymore, so we put this group together. It’s not a polished business with a front desk. Most of the time, we are meeting near the fields or at someone’s house to talk about the harvest. Indapur can be a tough place to farm if the water isn't right, so we try to help each other out with advice and resources. We aren't interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure that the people who actually do the work in Kurawali are the ones who benefit from it. Our days are long and the sun is hot, but we are used to it. We don't have any fancy brochures or slogans. We just have our crops and our word. It is a very local operation, run by people who know exactly what it takes to grow something from a seed. We are just trying to do right by our community and the land we live on. Sometimes it is a struggle, but we keep pushing forward because this is our life and we wouldn't know what else to do.
