Shri Vedmata Trading

We are located right on the Pune-Solapur Road, just across from Laxmi Colony at number 15 in Hadapsar. If you know the area, you know how busy this road gets with all the trucks and cars zooming by. Shri Vedmata Trading is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s a trading business, so there is always something coming in or going out. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the office, but that’s just how it is living and working in Hadapsar. We’ve got a small setup here. It’s nothing like those glass buildings you see in the IT parks. It’s practical. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking the stock levels in the back. The neighbors in Laxmi Colony are mostly quiet people, but our side of the road is always humming. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us answering the phone and making sure the orders are lined up. Sometimes things get a bit messy during the monsoon when the road gets muddy, but we manage. We’ve been at this spot for some time and most people around here know where we are. We handle various goods, mostly just moving things from one place to another. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we like the rhythm of the trading business. We usually close up when it starts getting dark and the traffic peaks. It’s a simple life and we don’t ask for much more than a steady day of work.
