Shri Chavan Beej Bhandar is our family business in Chikhali. We are right at Jaistambh Chowk, which is a busy part of town. Shri Vilas Purushottam Chavan is the one who really got things moving here. We’ve been a fixture at this chowk for quite a while. Being a private limited company now is just the official side of it. At heart, we are still just a seed store where farmers come to get what they need for the season. We see a lot of regular faces every year. It’s nice to know the people you are doing business with. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Our shop is full of bags and boxes, and it can get a bit crowded when it’s busy. We spend our time checking the quality of the seeds and making sure we have enough stock for everyone. Chikhali is a good town, and Jaistambh Chowk is right in the middle of everything. It makes it easy for folks to stop by when they are in town for other errands. We aren't looking to expand into some giant empire. We just want to keep the shop running well and serve the local farmers. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We value the trust our neighbors put in the Chavan name. We aren't big on speeches, we just like to get the work done right for the people who depend on us.
