We started Shree Sant Savtamali Agrotech Producer Company Limited because farming around Ambegaon isn't always easy. Our office is just at Shri Kisan Vithoba Vavhalshingave’s place in Shingave. It’s not a big fancy building, just a room where we meet and talk about crops. Most of us grew up here and we know the soil. We wanted a way to work together instead of everyone doing their own thing and struggling with the market prices. Sometimes the weather doesn't help us, and the rains come late or too much at once. We spend our days checking on the fields and trying to figure out which seeds will do better this year. It is a lot of hard work, honestly. We don't have a big team of experts, just local people who understand what it means to be a farmer in this part of Maharashtra. Sometimes we sit around for hours just discussing how to get the transport fixed or where to store the harvest. It’s messy and slow sometimes, but we are trying. Being in Tal Ambegaon gives us a good connection to the other growers nearby. We just want to make sure the work we do actually helps the families here. We don't have fancy brochures. If you come by the house, you'll probably find us drinking tea and looking at some paperwork or talking to a neighbor about their tractor.
