Our place is in Mangala Niwas, right in the Rasta Peth area of Pune. It’s an older building, the kind where you know the neighbors and people say hello in the morning. We don’t have a big fancy entrance. You just find the door and come on in. Inside, there are a few rows of benches and a table for the teacher. We’ve been running Shree Samarth Classes here because we live nearby and it just made sense. Rasta Peth is always moving, with bikes and rickshaws going up and down the street constantly. The noise filters in, but it becomes background sound after a while. We teach various subjects depending on what the students need help with that year. It’s a humble setup, honestly. We use chalk and boards because that’s what we’re used to. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is inconsistent, but we just keep going. Parents in the neighborhood know us by name, and we often see them at the local market. It’s not like those big coaching centers with glass walls and air conditioning. We just have a few fans and a lot of books. Students come here to get their doubts cleared and finish their homework. We spend a lot of time checking papers and explaining the same math problems until they click. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from morning until the evening.
