Shree Ramdev Novelties

Our shop is right in front of Agrasen Bhavan in the Raviwar Peth area. If you know this part of town, you know it is always crowded and there is a lot of noise from the markets. Shree Ramdev Novelties has been here for quite some years. My father started this and now I look after things mostly. We sell small items like hair accessories, toys, and some decorative pieces for the house. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have so much stuff on the walls and in boxes. Raviwar Peth is a place where everyone is looking for a deal. We keep our prices fair because we want people to come back. I usually sit near the door so I can see everyone coming in. It is not a modern store with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a couple of fans that hum all day. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we know our way around. It is a family-run business and we do not really do any advertising. People just find us while they are out doing their shopping. We keep it simple. If you need a small gift or something for a festival, we probably have it buried somewhere in a drawer. It takes some time to find things occasionally but that is just how it is here. Most days are busy and long.
