Shree Novelties

Shree Novelties is located at 1089 Jain Mandir Road. We are right opposite the Subhamsha Police Station and close to Manish Market in Sahiv Khurd, Raviwar Peth. This part of the city is always moving. There are bikes and carts everywhere and the noise from the market never really stops until very late at night. Our shop is packed tight. We have stuff from the floor to the ceiling almost. If you walk in, you have to be careful not to knock things over. We deal with a lot of different novelty items and bits for the house. Since we are near the Jain Mandir, we see a lot of people passing by on their way to pray. The shop is old and the wooden counters have seen better days, but they work fine. We don't have a computer system to tell us what is in stock. We just look at the shelves and know. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific color of thread or a certain type of button, but we usually have it buried somewhere. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or big lights. Most people find us because they were already in Raviwar Peth for something else and saw our door open. It’s a busy life here and the tea guy comes by three times a day which is the highlight of the afternoon.
