We are based at Home No. 01 in Zagadewad, which is out in the Indapur taluka of Pune district. Shree Ketkeshwar is a group we put together to help local farmers get a better grip on their business. It’s a quiet area, and most of us have been working these fields for a long time. We don’t have a big corporate headquarters, just a simple house where we manage the paperwork and meet up to chat about the crops. Being in Indapur, we have to deal with the local climate and market conditions. We found that working as a group makes everything a bit easier to handle. We share the load when it comes to buying supplies and finding buyers for the harvest. It’s not a fancy operation with a lot of rules; we just try to do what makes sense for our farms. You won't find any slick advertising here. We just focus on the actual farming and making sure everyone gets their fair share. It’s about keeping the traditions of the area alive while trying to be smart about how we sell our stuff. Sometimes it's a struggle with the water or the heat, but we just keep at it. It’s just us, the land, and the work that needs doing every single day in Zagadewad. We take pride in what we grow and how we work together.
