Shree Ganesh Hair Cutting Salon

You can find us at 54 Bp in Ganj Peth, right in the heart of the Timber Market area. We’re very close to Mahatma Phule Wada, which is a big historical spot in Pune. Our salon is a small, old-fashioned place that’s been around for quite a few years. It’s a traditional hair cutting shop, nothing like the modern salons you see in the newer parts of the city. We have the heavy old barber chairs and the large mirrors that have a bit of character to them. The neighborhood is always noisy with the sounds of the timber market, but we’re used to it. Our customers are mostly regulars who have been coming to us for a long time. They like that we keep things simple and don't change much. The floor is old and we spend a lot of time sweeping up the hair. There’s no air conditioning, just a couple of fans that buzz while they spin. We don't have a fancy menu of services. We just do haircuts and shaves the way they’ve always been done. It’s a small space, so it can get a bit crowded when a few people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind. We just have a chat and get the work done. It’s a honest, local business in a very old part of town. We’re just here doing our thing every day, from the morning until the sun goes down.
