Living in Hingoli, we’re surrounded by fields, so this kind of work is all we’ve ever known. Our place in Sodegaon isn’t anything fancy, just a spot where we can meet and store some of our produce. We spend most of our days out and about, seeing what’s happening in the local area. When we are at the office, we’re usually trying to figure out the best prices for our crops or organizing transport. It’s a lot of coordination, and sometimes things don’t go as planned. The weather can be unpredictable, and that affects everything we do. We’re not city people with suits; we’re just guys from the village trying to make a living. We keep our talk simple and our work honest. There’s always a lot of tea drinking and discussing the rain while we look over our notes.
