Shivshambho Shetkari Gat Farmer Producer is located in Jaipur, over in the Mantha area of Jalna. We work out of Ganesh Arjunrao Kakde’s place. It is a very local setup, just like you’d expect in this part of the country. Jaipur isn't a big city, so we all know each other and what’s going on in the fields nearby. Our day usually starts early because that’s when the work gets done before it gets too hot. We sit in the office and go over the numbers or talk to the farmers who drop by to see how things are moving. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things. We use simple tools and try to keep our records straight. The Mantha region has its own challenges, and we are right in the thick of it every day. We aren't here to make big promises. We just handle the coordination of the crops and make sure the paperwork for the producer company stays updated. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with all the different people coming and going, but we manage. It’s a real place with real people who are just trying to make a living from the land. Ganesh’s place serves as our hub, and it’s always got something happening. We like the pace of life here, even when it’s busy. We are just a group of people from Jalna doing what we can for the local farmers.
