Shiv Sai Agrotech Farmers Producer Company Limited

Shiv Sai Agrotech is a bit of a mix. We have an office in Pune at Sane Chowk, in the Polite Harmony building, Flat A-406. But the heart of what we do is really at Gat No 1307 and 1312. We try to connect the city with the actual farms. It’s a bit of a drive between the office and the fields, but we make it work. The Pune address is where we handle the more formal side of things, like the taxes and the paperwork. It’s also an easier place to meet people who aren't from the village. But the real work is out on the land. We are a producer company, so we are owned by the farmers. There are no bosses in suits here. We are just a group of people trying to get a better deal for our crops. Being near Sane Chowk gives us some advantages, but we never forget where the food actually comes from. We talk about the harvest even when we are sitting in a flat in the city. It’s a bit of a strange life, but it’s our reality. We aren't a polished corporation. Sometimes our meetings get a bit loud because everyone has their own opinion on how to do things. We don't use marketing language. We just talk about transport and market prices. It’s practical and honest.
