Shiv Pratisthan Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based in the village of Takwe, which is in the Maval area near Talegaon. Our company, Shiv Pratisthan Farmer Producer Company Limited, operates out of House Number 122. This is the home of Shri Popat Nathu Jadav. Maval is a beautiful place, but farming here has its own set of problems. We have been doing this for a long time, and we finally decided that being a registered company would help us stay organized. We are just a bunch of local farmers. We don't have a big office building or anything like that. We just meet at the house or out in the fields to talk about what needs to be done. Sometimes we talk about the price of diesel or why the tractor is acting up again. It is very informal. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to grow good food and make sure we can pay our bills at the end of the month. The weather in Maval can be unpredictable, so we always have to be ready to change our plans. We help each other out with the harvest when someone is running behind. It is just how things are done in Takwe. We are proud of our work and we like being our own bosses. It is a simple, honest way to live and we are just trying to keep it going.
