Shirodkar Preci Comp

Shirodkar Preci Comp is located in the General Block of the Bhosari Industrial Estate, right at BG/71/1/11. Being in MIDC Bhosari means we are surrounded by all kinds of manufacturing plants. Our specialty is precision components, which basically means we spend our whole day looking at very small parts through magnifying glasses or measuring them with calipers. It’s meticulous work and it can be a bit hard on the eyes after a few hours. The shop floor is kept as clean as we can manage, but it’s still an industrial unit at the end of the day. We have various machines that hum and click throughout the shift. There isn’t much room for error in what we do, so everyone stays pretty focused. We aren’t a huge company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of us that shows up, does the work, and goes home. The tea breaks are important to us because they give our eyes a rest from the fine details. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make small metal parts that fit into bigger machines. Most people would find it boring, but we take a certain amount of quiet pride in getting the dimensions exactly where they need to be. It’s just a regular part of the Bhosari industrial landscape, day in and day out, year after year, no matter how the weather looks outside.
