Shinge Beauty Parlour

We've been here at Akara Maruti Chowk in Shukrawar Peth for a while now. It's a busy corner, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Shinge Beauty Parlour is just a small place, nothing too fancy, but we keep it clean. People from around the neighborhood drop by for basic things like haircuts or maybe getting their eyebrows done. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic near the chowk, but inside it's usually just the sound of the fans and maybe some chatting. I started this because I wanted something of my own in Pune. Most days are steady, some are quiet. We have the usual mirrors and chairs you'd expect. Sometimes people wait on the bench outside if it's crowded. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. Most folks just know us because they live nearby or walk past on their way home. It’s a simple setup. We deal with regular hair stuff and skincare routines that people need. It’s nice to see the same faces every month. Sometimes we talk about the local news or just how the weather is getting hotter. Being in Shukrawar Peth means there's always something going on nearby. We just try to get the work done right so people are satisfied when they leave. It's just a normal part of the day for us here. The shop opens early enough and we stay until the evening rush slows down.
