Shingania Batteries

Shingania Batteries is located over at B 18 in the Pimpri Saug Baug area, right off Andheri Kurla Road in H-Block. If you know that stretch of road, you know how packed it gets. We are surrounded by other shops and small businesses, so there is always something going on outside. We mostly deal with all sorts of batteries. Car batteries are heavy, and we spend a good chunk of the day lifting them or testing them for customers who come in because their vehicle won't start. The shop is a bit cramped because batteries take up a lot of room on the shelves. It’s not the cleanest place since we are handling lead and acid and old parts all day. We usually have grease on our hands and the floor gets scuffed up pretty fast. People come in looking for a quick fix or a replacement when they're in a hurry. We just check what they need, show them what’s in stock, and get it done. The Andheri Kurla Road traffic is a constant backdrop to everything we do here. It’s a loud, busy environment, but we like being in the middle of it. We don’t do much fancy talking, we just sell the batteries and help people get back on the road. We stay open pretty late because you never know when someone’s car is going to die on them, and it's nice to be available.
