Shinde Yeoti Agrovan Farmer Producer Company Limited started in Yeoti village, which is in the Risod tehsil of Washim district. We are just a bunch of folks from the village who realized that we were all facing the same struggles. Whether it is the price of diesel or the lack of good seeds, everything was getting harder. We put our names together and started this company to give ourselves a better chance. Our office is right here in Po Yeoti, nothing special to look at, but it gets the job done. We spend our days out in the fields and our evenings talking about how to improve things. It is a slow process, but doing it together feels a lot better than being alone. Washim is a tough place for farming sometimes, but the land is what we have. We don't use big words or have a grand strategy. We just want to make sure we get a fair price for the hard work we put in from sunrise to sunset. If we can buy things in bulk, it saves us a few rupees, and that adds up over the year. We are just local farmers looking out for each other in a way that makes sense for our village and our families. It’s honest, difficult work, and we are okay with that as long as we can keep going.
