Shetkariputra Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based at Vijaykumar Champpalal Nahatta’s house, number 454. We are located in Janephal, which is part of the Mehkar taluka. We aren’t a big company with a glass office. We just work out of the house and the fields nearby. Most of the people involved here are farmers who have spent their whole lives in this area. We started this group because we wanted a way to work together instead of everyone struggling on their own. It’s a lot of hard work, and things don't always go according to plan. Sometimes the crops don't grow well, or we can't get a good price for what we’ve harvested. Having the company helps us stay organized and gives us a bit more strength when we go to market. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds, weather, and how to keep the soil healthy. It’s an honest way of living, even if it’s tough. We aren't using any big marketing words to describe ourselves. We are just local farmers in Janephal trying to make a living. If you come to house 454, you’ll probably see us sorting through some papers or planning for the next season. We keep things simple and focus on the day-to-day tasks that need doing. It’s a community effort, and we’re just trying to do right by our families and the land we farm. It’s not perfect, but it’s our life and we stick to it.
