Shende Exports Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Nikhil Apartments on Law College Road. We are at number 74/2. It’s a pretty well-known part of town, mostly because of the colleges nearby. Bhakti Margh is a nice street, usually lined with trees and a bit quieter than the main road. Our office is inside the apartment building. It’s a comfortable enough space for a small private limited company. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting lounge. If someone comes by, we just pull up a spare chair for them. Most of our work is done digitally anyway, so we spend a lot of time staring at screens and talking to people overseas on the phone. We started this because we knew the export market well. Being on Law College Road means we have some good coffee shops nearby for when we need a short break. The apartment itself is an older building, but it has a lot of character. We’ve filled the rooms with filing cabinets and stacks of export papers. It’s not perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the traffic on Law College Road makes it hard for visitors to park, so we usually just meet people elsewhere or do things over the phone. It’s a practical way to run a business without too much overhead cost. We’ve been here for years and don’t really plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. It suits us just fine.
