Dolphin Overseas

Dolphin Overseas has been at 143 Mahatma Gandhi Road for a good while now. It is a busy spot, always a lot of noise from the street outside, but we like being in the middle of things. Most days start with a lot of paperwork and phone calls. We deal with overseas stuff, which means keeping track of different time zones and shipping schedules. Sometimes things get a bit messy on the desks with all the files stacked up, but we know where everything is. It is just a few of us here. We grab tea from the stall nearby when things get too hectic. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks, chairs, and old computers that still work well enough for what we need. People come in and out, mostly delivery guys or folks we've known for years. We just try to get the orders out on time and make sure the labels are right. Shipping things across borders takes a lot of patience. There are always new rules or some delay at the port that we have to figure out. We don't spend much time on the decor. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy managing the shipments to worry about that. It’s honest work and it keeps us moving every day. We've seen the shops around us change, but we stay put here on MG Road, doing our bit with the import and export side of things.
