Sharman Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is located right on the main road in Narayan Peth. It’s a very traditional part of Pune, and being on the main road means we see everyone passing by. Sharman Beauty Parlour isn't one of those places with glass walls and expensive lighting. We have a simple shop where women from the neighborhood come to get their eyebrows done or maybe a hair oil massage after a long day. I’ve noticed that people here prefer things to be straightforward. They don't want a long list of fancy names for a simple haircut. We’ve been here for years, and the shop has seen the road outside get wider and more crowded with scooters. Inside, we try to keep things calm. There’s a curtain for privacy and a few chairs for waiting. My staff and I usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. We handle a lot of bridal work too, mostly helping local girls get ready for their big day without making it a huge production. Since we are in Narayan Peth, a lot of our customers are regular shoppers from the cloth market nearby. They drop in for a quick clean-up while they are out doing their errands. It’s a small team here, but we know our regulars by name and we know exactly how they like their threading done. It’s just a basic, reliable place for the local community that doesn't try to be anything it isn't.
