Sharad Shah & Co is an accounting firm located right in the middle of Kasba Peth. Our address is 1350, Kasba Peth, which is one of the oldest parts of Pune. If you have ever walked through these streets, you know they are narrow and always full of life. There is a lot of history in this neighborhood. We operate out of a traditional building, the kind you see all over this part of town. It isn't a glass-and-steel skyscraper. It’s just a solid place where we do our work. As chartered accountants, we see a lot of small business owners from the local market. They come in with their receipts and books, and we try to make sense of it all. The atmosphere is very local. You might hear the bells from the nearby temples or the sound of scooters zooming past the window. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or a fancy lobby. Usually, there is just someone sitting at the main desk ready to take your documents. We have been at this Kasba Peth location for quite a while. It feels like home to us. The work is steady, mostly tax stuff and basic accounting. We don't use a lot of big words to explain what we do. We just sit down, look at the numbers, and get the filing done before the deadlines hit. It’s a simple life and a simple office. It works for us and the people who visit.
