Shambhu Flower Decoration

Shambhu Flower Decoration is located at 97/67 in Model Colony which is very close to the Chaturshrungi Temple. Because we are so near to the temple we stay quite busy with people coming to buy flowers for their prayers. Model Colony is a very pretty area with lots of trees and old houses. Our shop is a small place but it is always full of the scent of roses and jasmine. We spend most of our time making garlands and small flower arrangements. It is hard work because you are on your feet for most of the day. My fingers are often stained from the different colors of the flowers. We have been here for a long time and we know many of the people who visit the temple regularly. We don't use any fancy technology to run our business. We just have a small counter and some buckets for the flowers. During festival seasons the whole area gets very crowded and we have to work extra hours to keep up with the demand. It can be quite exhausting but it is the life we have chosen. We don't have a big office or a polished image. We are just a local flower shop doing our thing every day. The temple bells are always ringing in the background which is a nice way to spend the day. It feels like we are part of the local history here near the temple.
