Sham Classes

We are located at Survey No 10 in Yerawada, specifically around Kamgar Nagar near Shivraj Chowk. Sham Classes has been a fixture in this part of Pune for quite a while. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of families and small shops. Our space is simple. We have a few rooms where students sit on benches to go over their subjects. There is nothing flashy about it. We do not have a reception desk or a waiting lounge. Usually, you will just find us in one of the rooms with a textbook in hand. We started these classes because we saw that kids in the 411006 area needed a place to study after school hours. Being near Shivraj Chowk makes it easy for everyone to walk over. The walls have some charts on them, and there is always a bit of chalk dust in the air. We do not spend money on big ads. Most parents just talk to each other at the market and find out about us that way. We keep things very informal. If someone is having a hard time with math or science, we just sit down and work through the problems one by one. It is not about being a big name; it is just about helping out where we can. The tea stall nearby is where we usually grab a quick break before the next batch starts. It is a modest setup, but it works for us.
