Shailas Beauty Salon And Nail Spa is tucked away behind Suprime Corner, right on J M Road. If you know the area near Sambhaji Park, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without realizing it. We are located in Kamalkunj Banglow. It’s an old-school Pune house feel, not a glass-and-steel mall shop. Being near Chetan Medical makes it easy to tell people where to go when they get lost. We do a lot of nails here, obviously, but the salon side stays busy too. Sometimes the chairs are all full and it gets a bit loud with everyone talking, but that’s just the atmosphere we have. It’s not meant to be a quiet library. My team has been here for a good bit of time. We deal with the usual Deccan traffic and the students coming from the nearby colleges. Sometimes the power goes out or the water heater takes a minute to kick in, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the most expensive place in Pune. We just want to give people a decent haircut or a clean set of nails. It’s a practical business. We use standard products that we know work well. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign behind the corner building. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate of the park but not too far. We keep things pretty relaxed here and try to keep everyone moving.
