Seb Tutorials

Seb Tutorials is over at 21-A Cycle Society, near the Quarter Gate in the Camp area. If you know where the YMCA Hall is, we are right next to it. It is an old part of Pune with a lot of character. Being in Cycle Society means we are in a residential pocket, which is nice because it feels a bit more private. We have been running these tutorials for a while now. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and stays relatively cool even when the sun is out. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or expensive carpets. We just have simple rooms with chairs and whiteboards. The students who come here are usually from the local Camp area. They just walk over after their school finishes for the day. We spend most of our time just going through the daily lessons. It’s a very calm atmosphere. We don't try to push the kids too hard; we just want them to get their work done properly. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat, or we hear the sounds from the YMCA next door. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We keep our schedules on a piece of paper taped to the wall so everyone knows when to show up. It is a very manual, hands-on way of running things. We just take it one day at a time and do our work.
