Score Academy

You can find Score Academy over at New Modikhana, right on East Street near M G Road. We are in that pocket of Camp, zip code 411001, which is always buzzing with people and cars. We’re directly opposite Poona College and quite close to Azum Campus, so there are always hundreds of students walking by at any given hour of the day. Because of the location, the street noise is just something we have learned to live with. You hear the honking and the general chatter from the street all day long. The building itself has been there for a long time and shows its age. Our classrooms are simple, mostly just rows of benches and a board at the front of the room. We keep things pretty basic here. There’s a small area where we keep the registers and some books, but it’s often a bit messy with all the paperwork piled up. Getting here is easy because of the landmarks, but finding a spot for a car is almost impossible, so most people just take the bus or ride a bike. The light in the rooms is okay in the mornings, but we have to turn on all the tubes by four in the afternoon. It’s a very practical environment for everyone involved. We don’t have posters on the walls or any of that stuff. It’s just a place to sit down and focus on the books for a while.
